Our Journey
Vardyn Systems started from a simple idea: there has to be a better way to do this.
Coming from a veteran background in the Royal Australian Navy, and later working across industry on the other side of the fence, we’ve seen first-hand what works, what doesn’t, and how complex engineering and sustainment can become when the right tools aren’t there to support the job.
THORIS was born out of those real-world lessons. Instead of adapting to clunky systems or forcing teams to work around rigid processes, we built our own software — something practical, intuitive, and genuinely useful for the people who rely on it every day.
Vardyn Systems is our way of turning experience into solutions. We’re not trying to reinvent the wheel; we’re just making it roll a hell of a lot smoother.

THORIS wasn’t designed to impress — it was built to work.
It grew out of years spent inside defence acquisition and sustainment, dealing with the real-world pressures of keeping complex systems running with limited time, limited data, and high expectations.
After seeing how much effort was wasted wrestling with spreadsheets, outdated tools, and processes that didn’t match how teams actually operate, we decided to build something better. THORIS strips away the noise and makes complex analysis, planning, and decision-making genuinely easier.
